Sareen Equality

is a 24-year-old New Jersey native now living in Chicago and an interdisciplinary writing artist unafraid to wade into the deep, uncomfortable waters most avoid. Her work dares to name the taboo, unearth the buried, and stir the emotions we pretend no longer exist, all in the name of dismantling harmful stigmas and making space for radical truth.

Rooted in multiple marginalized identities, Sareen’s voice breaks from the mainstream mold, reshaping what writing can look and feel like. Her form is fluid, her tone honest, using a defiant blend of poetic lyricism, narrative gut-punch, and fierce vulnerability.

Her journey in words has led her across continents and genres, from lyrical storytelling to fact-driven journalism at the University of the Arts London. She now continues to expand her practice at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, finishing her BFA in Writing.

At her core, Sareen is a connector with a vision to dissolve the boundaries between writing and the greater art world. Her mission is to curate a creative ecosystem where writing doesn’t just live on a page, but pulses through sound, visuals, space, and community.

If you're looking to collaborate, challenge convention, and build something bold, Sareen Equality is ready.
