Sunset by I.M. Mecca

There is beauty in simple things.
Pictures in our memories.
We put together like a movie.
In our minds.
Over and over.
We relive the past.
If there are any.
Replaying the laughter.
The wind in the breeze.
Remembering what we could be.
What we could’ve been.
Behind the sun on the beach.
Our conversations.
Picking up the pieces.
Forming our own version of what happened.
There is beauty in simple things.
Pictures in our daydreams.
That keep moving.
That keep tik ticking away.
It never stops.
It never gets old.
It never fades.
