You by I.M. Mecca
True,
The city speaks to us in truths,
Sound,
The memories of the nights that remember you,
Haunted,
By the past,
Of all your mistakes,
Dance,
The freedom of the dawn,
That breaks us,
Winded, defeated, humbled,
Life,
Is all these things combined,
Laugh,
At yourself and all the things you care about,
Sing,
To the dream you are one day,
Going to become,
Chances,
All you need is a chance,
A journey, away,
To discover yourself,
To discover who you really are,
Fight,
Or you might,
Lose control,
Of who you want to see,
In the mirror everyday,
A picture in a frame,
Choose,
To love,
You!
Your truth,
your choices,
your movement,
Your past,
your song,
Your journey,
Your mistakes along the way,
Choose to love yourself,
More than anyone else,
More than anyone else ever could,
